Mission Base Projects

Come to the CRI Base on a Mission Trip!

The CRI Mission Base exists to train and mobilize volunteers to disasters around the world. No matter how you serve, it all makes a Kingdom impact!

Each of us has a role in advancing the Kingdom! Whether your role is performing physical work, sowing financially, praying & interceding – they are all equal in God’s eyes and it takes all of us to get the job done. Please prayerfully consider the ways in which you can partner with us.

Groups and individuals are welcome to register for a specific project. Projects are listed below in the current priority order.

These projects are ongoing, and dates are flexible. Once you register, we will contact you to dial in all the details and discuss options to make your trip a memorable one.

Become a force multiplier and propel our mission to reach people in crisis!

Mini Split Unit Install

New heating and cooling units were graciously provided by CRI Partners. Now, all we have to do is get them installed. Calling all skilled electricians and plumbers!

Barn Fixin’

The Barn is a critical component to the CRI Mission Base and it needs your help! Our farm operations lend themselves to base sustainability, preparedness training, and post-disaster rebuilding techniques. It is in urgent need of being reinforced and re-sided.

Magnolia Lodge

This beauty needs a make-over. It is the first structure visitors see when they arrive on the camp. It needs lots of attention on its exterior, and we need to remodel the second floor to make new guest speaker accommodations.

Fencing Project

It’s time to fence the middle and lower pastures. Last year, generous donors provided and installed beautiful fencing around the barn area. We now need to fence the middle and lower pastures to protect our orchard and provide additional safe grazing areas for our farm animals.

Trail Maintenance & Tree Removal

Our 85 acre property has many trails that lead to the National Park and Appalachian Trail. The trails need maintenance, and down trees need to be cleared and set aside for firewood.

Perhaps you aren’t able to respond to disasters as they happen or to travel overseas. Many CRI Responders and others come in-between times of deployment to keep advancing the Kingdom of God. Making improvements to our Training and Sending Center directly impacts the lives of those in crisis.

  • A garden and farm to provide food for staff and hands-on training for rebuilding communities post-disaster.
  • Overnight accommodations for responders and visitors to stay comfortably.
  • Facilities set up for hosting training events, conferences, retreats, and conferences.
  • Partial rentals of the Base helps us to off-set costs, sustain operations and respond to crisis events efficiently.
