On Thursday, December 30th, fires fed by winds that reached 100mph began to swiftly move through suburban towns Boulder County. As of now, nearly 1000 homes and businesses have been destroyed. Tens of thousands of people have been driven from their homes and there is presumed loss of life.
Our Advance Team has been on the ground making connections and doing assessments since the weekend. We are beginning to receive Responders at our new base camp in Lafayette. Many opportunities have been identified for the team to offer spiritual and emotional support, do ash-outs in the neighborhoods that were just opened up for residents, and provide PPE to people affected by these sudden and devastating fires.
Credentialed CRI Responders should Sign up NOW to be a part of our compassionate team who are coming alongside these residents in their time of need.
Do not deploy until you have registered and receive confirmation that you have been approved.
