Hurricane Laura made landfall as a severely destructive Category 4 storm. Packing sustained winds of 150 miles-per-hour and 10′ storm surge, Louisiana residents are suffering without power, running water, and other basics to do life.
Crisis Response International is on the ground in Sulphur, Louisiana bringing hurricane relief free of charge to those who need it.
Our trained volunteers are serving a thousand hot meals a day, helping homeowners salvage valuables, clearing debris and down trees as well as tarping roofs. Our specialized Chaplaincy teams have been deployed to walk alongside residents to bring comfort and hope. We have established a point of distribution for relief supplies for impacted families.
We are grateful for our partnership with Celebration Worship Center, Somebody Cares America, Blood and Fire, Holy Smokes, Ally Force, United Rentals, Convoy of Hope, and all the many amazing people who have donated towards our relief efforts.
Together we have served 20,000 meals and distributed over $100,000 in relief supplies while serving 6000 area residents.
Certified CRI Responders are needed for immediate deployment. Please apply. Once approved, you will receive the basecamp location, a packing list, and other pertinent information. By submitting your application, you agree to follow all COVID-19 protocols to keep the team and the communities we serve healthy.
