Sean Malone

After months of prophetic intercession on top of buildings in lower Manhattan, Sean was thrust into rescue efforts at Ground Zero after the 9/11 attacks. There he provided lighting for the search and rescue operations due to his background in major motion pictures. In 2005, he and his family moved to New Orleans at the word of the Lord, which landed them there just days before Hurricane Katrina made landfall. They saw a mighty outbreak of God’s power in the wake of the storm, with many signs and wonders following. This is where the seeds for being involved in crisis response work were planted. In 2007 he and his wife Laura officially launched Crisis Response International. Since then, CRI has trained over ten thousand volunteers to reach the harvest in the midst of crisis in the power of the Holy Spirit. He serves as the Director of Crisis Response International with the mission to train and mobilize relief workers and full-time crisis response missionaries to bring God’s power and love to transform communities around the world.

Pastor Micah Whitley

Micah Whitley grew up in Southeast San Diego in the 1980s, during the height of the Crack Cocaine Epidemic. Although he was born into a strong Christian family, he struggled with anger and rage as he witnessed many of the neighborhood boys and girls succumb to the perils of street life. By God’s grace, Micah escaped becoming another neighborhood statistic by giving his life to Jesus shortly after graduating high school. Following this transformation, God sent Micah on an amazing journey, shaping and molding him by surrounding him with great leaders and placing him in priceless growth opportunities. These growth opportunities included traveling with (and eventually becoming certified by) Dr. Roger Sapp: founder of All Nations Ministries and the Christ-Centered Healing Seminar.

As of 2021 Micah is an ordained elder with over 30 years of ministry leadership experience and a proven track record of building disciple-making systems. He has been serving at the Rock Church San Diego since 2009 and on staff there since 2012. Micah loves the mission (Save Equip Send) and the vision (to establish global Pervasive Hope) of the Rock because it encourages everyone to represent Jesus by making disciples. It truly empowers believers to become the hands and feet of Jesus and to love everyone in their path.

The ministry environment of the Rock Church presented the opportunity for Micah to launch their Divine Healing Ministry in May of 2014. This ministry was instrumental in training and mobilizing team members to minister to those in need of physical healing, resulting in over 30,000 healings from May 2014 to December 2020. Micah loves to teach and do what Jesus taught and did.
You can find Micah, Deedee (his wife of 20 years), and their four children ministering together in church or the marketplace, from world missions to neighborhood Walmarts, teaching and doing! Micah has an unrelenting passion to equip the body of Christ. His personal mission statement is to love Jesus and to obey His commandment to make disciples so that the Kingdom of God continues to expand on the earth.
