Update from Lesbos, Greece

CRI Deployment update from Natasha Istomin.

Today was my first day at the “refugee camp” or better know as “refugee bus stop.” Our team are the first faces that the refugees see as they arrive by boat. We provide them with food, dry clothing, medical attention and water. I was touched by the number of young children. Among them a woman with her one day old baby arrived from Turkey. The weather here is in the 40’s, it’s cold and windy and near the water it’s even colder.  Realizing this precious mother just traveled 5 miles over 2 hours by boat to seek refuge after just having her baby boy, moved my heart in a way I will never forget. It was an honor and a privilege to hug these women and children and to pray silently for them and show them God’s love through our actions.
