ready to help?

Join a movement of trained Responders bringing hope, help, and the love of Jesus to people facing crisis. If you’re ready to step out in faith and show up where it matters most, we’ll train you, equip you, and send you.

Going with CRí means:

  • Getting trained in practical crisis response and spiritual care

  • Becoming deployable to real-world disasters, crises, and hard-hit communities

  • Working on a team that shows up with humility, excellence, and the heart of Jesus

  • Meeting urgent physical, emotional, and spiritual needs—wherever God sends us

each deployment is unique

CRí deployment operations are designed to meet the urgent needs of communities facing natural disasters and international crises. Whether responding to domestic emergencies or serving on the frontlines of international conflicts, CRí is there serving in tangible ways and meeting felt needs. Each deployment is unique because we deploy resources and people based on location, need, and prayerful guidance.

Domestic Deployments

In times of disaster within the U.S., our operations are diverse and adaptable. We mobilize teams equipped with mobile kitchens, debris removal equipment, and tool trailers to serve in a variety of ways. From tarping roofs and clearing downed trees to preparing hot meals and distributing emergency supplies, our goal is to meet the immediate needs of those affected. Additionally, our specially trained chaplains are deployed to offer emotional and spiritual care to survivors and first responders alike.

We often partner with local churches, schools, or community centers to set up a base camp to distribute meals and resources, receive truckloads of supplies, and house our volunteers. This base camp becomes a hub of activity and support, allowing volunteers from all backgrounds to plug in and serve meaningfully. Whether you see yourself operating equipment, preparing meals, or providing spiritual care, there's a place for you on a CRI domestic deployment.

International Deployments

When responding internationally, our teams are mobilized by air, bringing essential resources like water filtration systems, solar lights, food rations, and medicines—items that can be difficult to source in-country. Our international response efforts vary depending on the crisis, but may include running medical clinics, setting up refugee camps, building temporary housing, distributing critical resources, and providing chaplaincy services.

In more extreme situations, our teams may serve on the frontlines of wars, helping with extractions, rescues, and transporting refugees to safety. These deployments require resilience, adaptability, and a heart for serving in some of the most challenging environments in the world.

WAYS TO SERVE

Every deployment offers a wide range of opportunities for you to get involved. All skill-sets are valued here!

Administration, logistics, resource distribution, hospitality, commercial kitchen, meal service, organization, chaplaincy, relational connection, cleanup, chainsaw work, driving and towing trailers, leading prayer and worship, and so much more...

Whether you're drawn to the frontlines of crisis response, have great interpersonal skills, or prefer to serve behind the scenes in an quieter capacity, there's a role for everyone. You can also support our operations from our headquarters in Blue Ridge, Virginia, helping to ensure our teams are equipped and ready to respond.

HOW YOU FIT IN

You can make a huge impact regardless of your background or skill-set. Imagine yourself in the field, offering food and water to families in need, operating equipment to clear roads and restore communities, or providing a comforting presence as a chaplain in times of emotional distress.

Whether you're called to hands-on work, logistics, or spiritual care, your involvement in a CRI deployment will be life-changing, both for those you serve and for you.

All you have to do is take our CRI Responder Training and then apply to deploy.

Join us in bringing hope and healing to those in the midst of crisis.
