18 people have died from Hurricane Matthew in North Carolina. Over 17 inches of rain fell, causing rivers to swell, double the height of flood stage. Waters continue to rise as hope is slipping away.

Lumberton, North Carolina, the poorest area in all of North Carolina has no food, water, electricity or fuel right now. Cleaning supplies have doubled in price, and there is not much help in sight.
